I purchased the Eagle Talon after watching RMJ Tomahawks for a long time. It was an excellent choice. This hawk is bad ass! I have a Shrike on order also and cannot wait until it arrives! These hawks are so well made I would absolutely bet my life on one. RMJ Tactical tomahawks are combat ready right out of the box. As a 20 plus years fire fighter, I would go into almost any structure knowing that I will get out either through a door or the wall or anywhere I choose with this tomahawk. These are by far the best tool/weapon I own. These people know what they are doing. Bet your life on it.

YES!! My Eagle Talon is amazing. I am a sharp edged weapon "enthusiast," and have about 50 chopping tools (hatchets, axes, cleavers, and hawks). This RMJ hawk is best tool I own in this category. It is crafted for function and toughness. I will be purchasing more RMJ hawks after I pay taxes. The RMJ hawks come sharp enough to shave. Truly awesome and worth every penny.

It was well worth the money. It's totally solid.

I chose the Eagle Talon primarily for use as a survival tool. I haven't used it much, but it hasn't disappointed me in any way. Once I had it, t forgot all about what I paid for it The craftsmanship is simply outstanding and I have full confidence that it will serve me well.
It took less than 18 hours before it tasted my blood. The point of the beard made a clean, triangular puncture right between two fingers when I had a "senior moment". At least, that's out of the way...
One thing that isn't obvious on the site. Although the beat is seeriously sharp, there is enough next to the handle that is unsharpened to allow choking all the way up on the handle so that precision cutting is possible.
