Recently received my Kestral hawk after hearing about the RMJ company several years ago. Wish I didn't wait so long to do it as I'm completely blown away by the workmanship of this product. Like you rarely get a hamburger that looks like the burger in the advertisement, RMJ delivers exactly what they advertise. I haven't put it through its paces yet, but honestly I'm afraid to scar it up too much. I'll probably have to order another one just to beat on!

The tomahawk has been with me every day since I recieved it. I have processed a large amount of wood, broken glass, and cut through metal in the short amount of time that I have had the kestrel. Overall I am extremely happy with my kestrel and look forward too my next order with RMJ.

This was one of my first Hawks I ordered from RMJ. Absolutely a fantastic tomahawk. The serial number on it is #29. I have had this hawk for 10 years now and it is sacred to me for show and a conversation piece. It is still to this day in unabused condition and the head , beard and spike are razor sharp, thanks to a little TLC and my sharpening skills.

Learned about these awesome hawks from my uncle who works for the company, so naturally I became partial to them without having any experience. After saving up for a couple months, I purchased a Kestrel Tomahawk from RMJ. The poor little hawk had a lot to prove to me since I had no experience with axes of any kind and had purchased it off of what my uncle had told me. It has been about a year since I purchased my Kestrel and I can honestly say that out of all my sweet tacti-cool gear, it is the one piece I use the most.
I put it through hell cutting brush, chopping little logs, digging holes with the spike, cutting trenches for water mains, and even some throwing here and there. I wore most of the duracoat off of the blade fairly quickly, but I was abusing it and didnt care. Dulled it up pretty good in a year and recently went back to the shop and they sharpened it for free. I only have positive things to say about the RMJ Tactical Team and the quality of tools that they create.
Yes, they are expensive tools to purchase. Suck it up and don't buy starbucks everyday for 3 months and you'll have enough money for one. If you are AD Mil they will even engrave the hawk for you for free. They're tomahawks are worth every penny and will hold their value for years to come.
Thanks a lot to everyone of at RMJ. Keep up the awesome work!
(Saving for the Berserker, no starbucks, soda, energy drinks until I get one!)
