  1. Well worth it 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Aug 2015

My hawk arrived after only 3 months, came well packaged and sharp as can be. Read the directions before removing it from the sheath my father was the first to bleed from it he did not read the directions. Perfectly balanced and fits well in my hand. I like the imperfections from the forging process, if you want a perfect looking hawk then the shrike is not for you. I wanted a tool that will outlast me and that's what I got.

  2. S13 Shrike 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Feb 2015

When I received this hawk, this one was not going to leave my hands. Has all of the same qualities as the full size shrike, but is shorter. I take this hawk with me hunting, hiking or during field training for the military.
    ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS TOMAHAWK
Thanks for my third awesome hawk

  3. great tomahawk 5 Star Review

Posted by on 19th Jul 2014

I received my s13 about the same time I got my swamp rat kdsh. Definitely worth the extra money. The cerakote on the handle was very well done. The finish on the head wasn't perfect though. A few minor flaws but there only noticeable because my kestrel feather and berserker were flawless.

  4. Good could be great. 3 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Jan 2014

To start I ordered this hawk due to it's size rubber handle and reported toughness. I ordered it with urban camouflage but received black due to the waiting period I did not send it back. The handle is a nice size and comfortable but not rubbery feel so with dry hands it is a little slippery no big deal hockey tape fixed that. The cap for the bottom is great I would recommend an o ring for water tight also a little oil on the threads and use a cleaning patch to lightly oil the barrel in case any moisture does get in there. It is light but not to light. It takes a good edge the inside hook could be a little flatter grind so it could take a sharper edge but it works well enough. I have not used it much yet so I have no feedback on edge retention. All and all a good hawk but it could be great if a little more attention to details were thought out. That's my opinion that and $5bucks gets you a cup of Starbucks.
