-The U.R.I.B (Urban Rescue Interchangeable Blade) emergency tool was designed by our crew member Charles Taylor at the request of some of our local firefighters. They initially approached us wanting some modifications to an RMJ designed CRKT No Bother Knife so they could cut seat belt and rope. As a result of these conversations, the U.R.I.B. was born.
-This tool is machined out of 6061 aluminum and finished in “Sniper Gray” Cerakote. The replaceable blade is secured with two 18-8 stainless steel screws.
Weight: 3.1 oz w/o scabbard - 5.6 oz w/ scabbard
-With the overall length of 7.5 inches, the curved spine provides leverage for working under seatbelts during extractions. A reverse grip with the spine of the knife down, is the recommended method for extraction according to our local fire fighters. Since this is an open blade design, we suggest you always cut away from the victim's body and limbs.
-The replaceable razor blade insures that you never have to sharpen a dull blade. Just drop in a fresh blade whenever you feel you need it. We use Rapid Edge serrated blades that are available on Amazon, or directly through RMJ Tactical.
-Each U.R.I.B. comes with a kydex scabbard, retention strap, and a belt/backpack strap. RMJ Tactical M.O.C. straps are also compatible for MOLLE carry.

IMPORTANT: Please include extended zip code when placing order, if applicable. Your order could be declined "due to address or zip code mismatch" if you do not include this information. If your payment is declined do NOT attempt to pay for your cart again. Please call us to complete the order. Often when a card is "declined" the funds will be tied up for a few days during the rejection process. The most common reason for a card to be declined is that there is a discrepancy between the zip code entered in the billing address and the one the bank has on file.
