Sick Steve products are those that might have a slight cosmetic blemish or in the case of these UCAP's, a mis-marked steel type on the blade. We had the intention to release a Nitro-V version of the UCAP, these engraved as such, but we came to find out they were 52100 carbon steel like the original UCAP. The are 100% full quality knives in everyway, we've marked them with the Sick Steve Logo, and the 52100 steel so it's clear. A standard UCAP is $235 retail, you save $40 on this Sick Steve version.
The UCAP is a mid-sized fixed blade that is geared for everyday carry. The knife was created with a defensive purpose in mind, but is also well equipped for any and all cutting chores where a knife is called for, from first responder situations, outdoors activities, and just about anything else you can throw at it. It's a looker too, look at those classic lines and that belly!
The UCAP has a bowie-style clip point blade made from 52100 carbon steel with a Rockwell hardness of 58-59. The knife features a 4" blade that has a tungsten cerakote finish for corrosion resistance and durability.
Weighing in at 5.2 oz, the knife is deceptively light, yet can hold its own in both categories of everyday carry as well as heavy use tactical knife. Offering a full tang and tubed rivet handle construction, this is one tough little knife!
The beveled and contoured Black G10 grips feature a diagonal texturing that offers a very secure grip without being overly aggressive and they work very well wet or dry.
