Some of the best-known combat knives are truly icons in the knife world. The K-Bar and many others from the battlefields of World War II are sti some of the most recognizable designs today. The Combat Africa is a modern rendition of this great genre of knives from the trenches, jungles, and beaches of the Second World War. The Combat Africa is a true workhorse, it may look great in your collection, but it begs to be used!
The knife is 12" in total length with a 7" blade made from 80CRV2 carbon steel. The 1/4" thick oversized stock is more than tough enough to handle anything you can throw at it. A long, deep fuller provides strength as well as a reduced surface area for deeper penetration. The clip point design is ideal for puncturing, yet the curve allows for a better surface area on cuts as well. The knife is finished with our Tungsten Cerakote for added corrosion resistance and a low vis look.
The full-tang handle features super durable and grippy 3D contoured G10 handle scales. G-10 is a superior handle material compared to the old stacked leather handles or Bakelite of yesteryear, G10 provides a sure grip in any weather or climate condition. We include a Kydex scabbard with two of our MAD straps for belt or pack carry.
